Chairman : Good Morning, my name is Rizky. I am the moderator here. I am very pleased to welcome you all to the seminar on. It gives me great pleasure to declare the seminar open. I’d like to remind you all that nowadays many student have addicted on drugs that makes the new generation got demoralization. In this session we are going to discuss about What Do You Need To Know About Drugs.Ok, let’s start with Mr. Erwin as the speaker from BNN.For Mr.Erwin can start your presentation.
Presenter : Thank you Mr. Rizky for the time that given to me. First I want to thanks for inviting me as the speaker in this seminar. As we know, nowadays many student have addicted on drugs. On fact, more than 50% drug’s users are teenagers. I think it caused by the wrong social intercourse and less parents attention. Now I’d like go to main point that is how to prevent student from the drugs. I would like to show you some slides on LCD.(go to presentation slide).
Chairman : Ok, thank you Mr. Erwin but, before we start the question session, I’d like to invite your ideas on this matter / what are your views on how to prevent the drug abusing.
Audience : May I tell you my opinion about the topic?
Chairman : Yes, please.
Audience : Why we not just give the people that use drug or distribute it a dead punishment? I think it will scare them to use drug anymore, we must protect our young generation, isn’t it?But i think the dead penalty will not solve all of the problem in our country. I Believe everybody in this country or other country still have a chance to change his/her self to be a better people. How BNN solve the problem?.
Presenter : Ehm… I think that’s enough good question. I understand what Risnu hard way to punish all of people who distribute drugs or use it with no mercy, but I also understand what you think to forgive and give them chance to change them self to be a better people. But listen to this, we must balance, between punish and forgiving. So I guess It would be more better if we forgive people who just use it or trying it, not just forgiveness but also we give them education.Try to open their eyes and their mind that drugs is not just endangering their body but also their own future. However for the distributor, no mercy. Just punish them before they destroy our young generation.
Chairman : Ok, I think that’s enough. Now lets start our question session. Ok, is there anyone who want to ask? Oh yes Mr Risnu please.
Audience : Thank you Mr Rizky, emph.. Mr Erwin, What Can I Do to Help drugs users?
Presenter : Well thank you Mr Risnu, that’s a good question. If you think someone is using drugs, the best thing to do is to tell an adult that you trust. This could be a parent, other relative, teacher, coach, or school counselor. The person might need professional help to stop using drugs. A grown-up can help the person find the treatment he or she needs to stop using drugs. Another way kids can help kids is by choosing not to try or use drugs. It’s a good way for friends to stick together.
Chairman : Ok, thanks for Mr Erwin, Risnu for your opinion. But, time’s running out, we have already listen to the their opinions, now we can conclude that drugs is not dangerous for our lives but also dangerous for people who live around us.so it’s very important for us to know about drugs. With the conclusion that we have, that’s the end of our seminar today. I hope this seminar will give you more knowledge about drugs and at least decrease the case of drugs abuse.
